Chronic Fatigue Mode
Whenever I got my focused on the feelings surrounded in my fatigue mode of extreme feelings of tiredness and fatigue, not believing my body could handle anything, my body needing rest. My fatiuge mind brought those conditions into my life and having myself going to bed in relief of resting my mind and body if only for a half an hour. This extreme fatigue mode would be present when my mind wandered to past situations when they came up meaning I would need to do alot of errands and in the past this tired me out to the point that I would need a long rest after the activity and the thoughts of doing it would get me so wound up that I would lose energy just thinking about it. Now I’m present what I need to do and what is helpful is making a list, so I am in and out of places, so I don’t have to really think about what I need when I go to the store, the work is done. Now I am present what I’m doing and it so much easier of not losing energy with every stop I do and if needed I will take rest periods during the activity or if I feel I had enough I don’t beat myself up, I just do it another day.
How do I do rest periods
I will just close my eyes, connect with my breath, for a few breaths, and then open my eyes, I feel refreshed and back focused on the activity that I’m presently doing…..giving me less fatigue and energy loss through my activities. It also helps me when I forget what I needed in the grocery store, I’ll take a moment because then I don’t miss something and need to go back to a certain area of the store… more walking then needed.
Try being present in your day
Keep a journal to see when your energy is being lost and what thoughts you are thinking at the time the energy is lost. Because I came to realize that when I’m present and focused my thoughts are on doing that activity and not on chronic fatigue ones my fatigue causes were less and stress wasn’t an issue either.
